“This place is wonderful! The manager was really nice and helpful. Everything came out really fast, which was great because I was eating with my husband on his lunch break. Their name says it all. The Fried Green Tomatos were the best I have ever had! The chicken was moist and flavorful. But I think my favorite was the steamed cabbage! Everything tasted like grandma's home cooking! Definitely a soul food gem. I would go back anytime!”

“The fried green tomatoes were disappointing. Too much squishy breading and not crispy at all. Very oily. But the cabbage, potatoes, okra, and cornbread were good. Unsweetened tea was freshly made. Service friendly and fast.”

“Wish it were better as we pull for such local establishments, but we are honest here. Food taste was below are expectations. Price was way above our expectations. $3.89 for a small slice of buttermilk pie. $40 total for two people with waters to drink. Then the card swipe wanted 18, 20 or 25% for a tip and with no table service. No service, then no tip. We were hoping for better food and pricing. The environment was very nice.”
